: Any good Drymarchon books? Heather,
Hi! I wish I could tell you that there were some good comprehensive, photo-filled books on the genus Drymarchon, but there are not. Few books give more than a cursory mention of these spectacular animals, and I hope that one will eventually become available in the not too distant future. I admire your interest in this species, as they are often written off as messy and unsuitable captives. I have bred the Eastern Indigo, and can say that although they do require some extra effort, they are some of the most intelligent snakes(besides cobras and mambas) that I have ever had the pleasure of working with.Best of luck with your efforts with Drymarchon! Mike C.
