I don't know you guys. I think I would spend about as much on a first snake as I could afford to lose.
Also, if you've never kept a snake you may find out the idea and the reality are two different things.
Why risk so much on a first go round? Granted, with all the info available today it might be possible, but its still a real risk.

: I've seen some pics of Indigos and think they look really cool.Can anyone tell me about their temperment, and if they are good for beginners? If anyone knows any good sites for info about them, I'd greatly appreciate it.
