It seemed to me that the Indigo was more "intelligent", or at least displayed behavior that made me think it was more intelligent, but after having my arm squeezed like that i thought the brute strength of a large kingsnake would have pretty easily overpowered the Indigo. I think the Indigo could have easily handle a thinner 3 or 4 foot king but after that I think the king would win.
