: I had a definate improvement in the females attitude when night time temps went from 65-70 to 60-65. I'm sure some indigo keepers keep their critters warmer than I do in the winter, but I aim for low 60's and even upper 50's for a while.
: This is hard for a keeper to do. Temperatures in northern florida are at near freezing at night this week. You dont need to get your indigos near freezing, but it is a clue as to how low temperatures can get and indigos will still thrive.
: Good luck,

Makes sure females are fed really heavily and that nighttime lows are in the 60 degree range. It may just be to early in the season for you females. Dougs advice is diffrent then mine, I dont drop them down that cold. mainly because of respittory infections , but it has worked for him and may work for you. He is a good breeder. Many roads to the same destination. Best of luck.
