An interesting tidbit

In doing some research, I discovered that Indigos and Cribos
(Drymarchon corias) were origanlly classified as Coluber corias
(same genus as racers) then to Spilotes corias (Genus that the "Tiger Rat snake" belongs to) before the new genus Drymarchon was created.
