: I am working on the "Permits" section of IndigoSnakes.com and need a little help. I know that it is illegal to own/breed couperi in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi. Are there any other states that anyone knows about that won't allow the keeping or breeding of couperi? Also, is it, in fact, illegal to own/breed erebennus in Texas? Are there any other states that restrict erebennus? Any info on these two would be appreciated as would any other information on status or permits that isn't as common knowlege as the federal permit required for couperi.
: Thanx,
: James
Eastern Indigo's are very LEGAL to keep in Florida, also your web site claims state permits are very hard to receive in Florida, this also is not so. I have (2) permits for Indigo's all you need is an interestate commerce permit, and a state permit can be easily received in about (2) weeks as both mine were. Sincerely, Robert
