: : I am working on the "Permits" section of IndigoSnakes.com and need a little help. I know that it is illegal to own/breed couperi in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi. Are there any other states that anyone knows about that won't allow the keeping or breeding of couperi? Also, is it, in fact, illegal to own/breed erebennus in Texas? Are there any other states that restrict erebennus? Any info on these two would be appreciated as would any other information on status or permits that isn't as common knowlege as the federal permit required for couperi.

: : Thanx,

: I think both New Jersey and Oklahoma are off limits to Eastern Indigos. But I didn't know about Alabama.
: Can you confirm that?

: robert

Actually Robert, I can't confirm that. I just assumed since they are historically indigenous to Alabama that there would be restrictions there just like in MS. Anyone else know for sure?
