They are struggling in the wild,collecting just makes it that much worse. WHEN you release him (which I assume you will) please take special concern to release him as close to where you caught him as you can. There are some people who participate on this forum that produce healthy, parasite free, LEGAL Indigo snakes. I urge you to go that route.
