I have a female Texas Indigo. I thought it was a male because of the growth rate and amazing appetite. She's the same age as yours and longer than my female couperi. The cages that you have are probably perfect size. I figure I'll have to get a bigger cage for this girl. Good luck with your snakies.
: I have a pair of cb '97 Texas Indigos. The female is the one I posted pictures of afew days ago. She is actually longer than the male, but he is heavier in build. I will post pictures of him soon when I get time. I keep them in 6'x28"x18" vision cages with large wood climbing branches which they use alot. The female is nearly 7'. She goes the full length of the cage with what I would estimate at 10" around the corner. The male is all of 6'. Again these are cb'97 hatchlings. I feed small to medium rats that I raise myself. I supplement w/frozen thawed shiners from the bait shop and frozen thawed chicken wing sections and frozen thawed gizzards and hearts of chicken. I know some are worried about germs, but I think we are at more risk eating chicken than the snakes, but use your own judgement and be careful. VWillis
