: The Texas indigo can be quite variable...depending on where they come from in their range. I had a pair from the northeastern part of their range in Texas that it was very difficult to distinguish them from the Florida indigos! I have seen other Texas indigos from the southern portion of their range that they had had alot of blacktail cribo influence in their markings. But, they all make wonderful captives and have great dispositions. You probably live in Florida, so the Texas indigos make great substitutes!!!
