Hey Trust, what's happenin? The blacktails are subspecies of Drymarchons. I kept yellowtails and blacktails for several years and they are very similiar with the indigos. My son got nailed by a seven foot blacktail that really did a number on him. I could never understand why that snake bit him because it was always as tame as a kitten! It bit him in the face, on the arm and on the chest in about two seconds! That is the only time I have ever seen one bite. They make wonderful pets and some even like thm better then the indigos!
