Hello, I just got my iguana about a month ago.... he is probably around a year old. At first it was hard to handle him, but wasn't impossible... about a couple weeks ago, he became VERY tame... he would let me pick him up... if I went in slowly and petted his feet for a while first... almost everytime I wanted to. This past week, he has started to shed his whole body from head to tale (does this have something to do with him going mean?) He is almost done shedding, but I can't get near him without him running away or whiping his tale! Luckly he isn't one to open his mouth and bite or charge at me! Do you think this is just a phase? or what can I do to make him trust me again? This sucks! I don't know if this will help either, but he seems to be eating a lot more and growing quit rapidly...
