The problem is that its very dangerous to do that when they are small!They can hide and be crushed easily!Kenya, for instance, loves to hide inside my dayghters toy boxes!Any heavy toy that is thrown there can crush her!
Yes, you're right. We didn't let Iggi free roam until she was about a year old or so. Before then, we would carry her on us, putting her in the enclosure to poop, and after she fell asleep on us, to sleep. Eventually, we got her a cat tree and heating pad, and threw the enclosure out.
