Hi, I am not am iguana owner by my friend is. Her nephew won an iguana and has a teporary cage for it now. He will grow out of it in about 2 monthes i am thinking but they are looking to buy a cage until then. I found one that is very suitable but i have a few questions. I have only had experience with desert reptiles thus have no experience with humidity, heatingand such for tropical species. This cage is my question. It has sides that are mesh, or free flowing for the air. I was wondeirng how i can keep in heat and humidity for the iguana?
Could i put a wet towel at the bottom of the cage for humidity??
Could i put a basking light for day and a ceramic heater at night??
Anything for this type of cage would be great!
Thanks
Lauren
