Last night I handled hundreds of four-toed, red-backed, blue-spotted, and spotted salamanders along with countless treefrogs, woodfrogs, and peepers. I found that by the end my fingers were covered in a coat of some sort of natural adhesive that had mixed with some limestone powder and dried. I am still peeling the stuff off bit by bit over 12 hours later! Maybe I could develop some sort of glue for this dixcovery, lol. Anybody know if there is a patent? lol, jk.
