Why wouldnt he have? I have to disagree...Staley was never really big into the mainstream. He strayed more towards the underground while Cantrell pulled more for the mainstream line. Layne rarely...if ever...appeared outside after '96, other than when he went out to cop and stuff. His fiance died, he was an addict...I mean it was sad really. He started to go downhill and my bet is he knew it...He probably just wanted to go out in a drug induced daze. Andy
