New information to me I thought they preferred honey pot ants(myrmecocystus) and refused pogonomyrmrex. I generally stayed away from the species for this reason. I have succesfully raised and bred many species using pogonomyrmrex, hopefully I can add another to my list now. Are you feeding californicus, rugosos, barbata ect.?
