:Im just curious my DH is in a plastic terrarium and instead of UV bulbs im putting him next to a window, I just want to know do the UV rays he needs get through the glass of the window and the plastic of the cage to him or is this not effective?
:Thanks Allot
Is he active? My Horneys want nothing to do with food! Yes, most of the beneficial UV rays of the sun are filtered out by the window glass. I have heard of a glass that doesn't filter out UV rays I believe its called water white glass. I don't know how much more UV rays are let through using this glass!
