I am looking to determine the exact nutritional requirements for the different species of horned lizards. The purpose of my study will be to find out the difference of growth and size in both disturbed and undisturbed populations.Does anybody know any individuals who would be willing to determine the species of ants and other insects found in horned lizard scats? After determining the most common species consumed I would like to determine thier nutritional makeup. For example P. mcalli mainly consumes pogonomymrex californicus and messor pergandi. I would like to collect species of both and send them to someone could determine the percentage of moisture, protein, fat, and the vitamins and minerals found in them. Thanks for any help.
