:My one HL jsut lays there with his front legs streched out to the sides. He hardley moves and when he does he doesn't use his front legs just pushes with his back legs. He just shed last week. I haven't seen him eat any ants but he has eaten a few waxworms. He is a Phrynosoma platyrhinos. any help would be appreciated.

What I have observed.
I just had two lizards die and two days before they were acting the same way. They had Nematodes.
Also in the past I have seen HL's act like this when they are impacted. They also died.
If the HL is loosing weight, I would check his stool for Nematodes. Take the stool and soak it in warm water, gently break it up and look at it with a magnifying glass, if the HL has Nematodes or tapeworms, you will see them.
If he has not deficated, I would be worried about impaction.

Anyone else have other ideas?
