Sorry no one answered, keep in mind this is just a volunteer situation so there is on obligation to post answers. I am not familiar with calcium sand so do not feel comfortable offering an opinion on that but as far as ants go there is nothing in Florida I can think of that would hurt your lizard. You best bet is to offer it whatever ants you have on hand, if it will not a specific ant do not use those again, but anything it will eat should be safe for it. Keep in mind always offer in small numbers.
