He's not eatting!

Hello again, I seem to be having some problems making our new HL happy. I am experimenting with different local ants trying to find some he likes. In the mean time I orderd some harvesters from antsalive.com. He doesn't seem to be interested. he can't have eaten more than a dozen ants in the last 4 days. More often than not he is getting stung by the ants. I am only feeding 4-5 ants at a time. Any thoughts on how to get this guy to eat? When you feed yours do they dive right in? I haven't actually seen this one eat anything. I can only assume that he is because the ants are gone.
