Paul,

Yes he broke the skin top and bottom and there was bleeding. The wounds itched more than it hurt. It felt like a horde of Mosquitos had bit me. The finger did swell a little and was stiff for about 3-4 hours.

These little guys do not let go. They loosen their grip a little then bite down even harder. His jaws were locked on. Like I said before it took the water to get him off. He's not an aggressive snake but having pinky scent on my finger didn't help the situation.
