Good news... snake went to the vet this morning and Doc to a sample of the mucus out of the mouth. Under the microscope he could tell it wasn't an infection or resperatory infection. he said the jaw area appeared to be swollen a little, which I thought the whole head looked a little larger. Doc said it looked like more of a mouth iritation. Gave me some Tricide... which kills off any bacteria and should see a turn around in 3-5 days. what a relief!!!!!!!
Colchicine.... thanks for your input and what other brands of aspen could you recommend?

:Aspen is not dusty at all, but I wonder if there is a difference in quality between brands. You might want to consider keeping it on newspaper until the infection is taken care of.
