It is a common known fact that POWERFEEDING (as many seasoned breeders call it) can drastically shorten a life span. Look into any major book about breeding or feel free to ask any seasoned breeders. They may get big fast, but their life expectancy will fall short. I do not feed during sheds because the animals are normally not themselves, sometimes too touchy, sometimes they are too mellow, and when in blue, they can be unpredictable. I would not want a snake to get used to eating like that, nor would I want to stress it as shedding has to be stressful to the animal. There ya go. Andy
