Apparently it didn't do you much good for increasing your sensitivity to wild amphibians.

Actually it did! I cited such examples as the Gastric Brooding Frog of Australia, the Golden Toad of Costa Rica, and the Western Toad of the American Pacific Northwest. The factors that I chose to write about were global warming, over use of herbicides & pesticides, and destruction & fragmentation of habitat, though there are many more (as I'm sure you are aware).

As stubborn as I am, even I couldn't deny the facts after researching them myself. By my post, I was sort of wanted to give you credit for bringing me onboard, as I would never have chosen to write about declining amphibian populations if not for our exchanges. In fact, going into the project I was going to write from a position of debunking the notion, but all of my research only pointed in one direction, which is that amphibians are suffering all around the world.

That is the spirit in which I wrote my last post, though perhaps that wasn't very clear.

Best,

S.B. O'Gill
