: I totally disagree with feeding Eastern Hogs mice. Mice are too fatty for them, and it ends up killing them. Their digestive systems are made for frogs and toads. I used to convert my Easterm Hogs to mice, but every one of them died b/c of it. I found that when fed freshly killed mice, they died within a few days. With f/t, it took them a few weeks to a month to keel over. I understand with other species of Hogs, it may be acceptable, but with Easterns and probably even Southerns, I don't agree with it at all. Any insights?
