......While MY opinion may not be the most popular amongst many of those that frequent this forum, you appear to have made a most wise and rational decision. While it's true that few lizards possess the alure that the Gila Monster does, it is equally true that though sluggishly sedentary and seemingly trustworthy by nature, the animal is ALWAYS and at anytime handled capable of delivering one of the most painfull(but not deadly) bite experiences known to man, and should NEVER be completely trusted.
