I really could have lived without the sight of the mutilated gila. The sad thing is that that happens everywhere with all types of wildlife. Reality really sucks some times.

The other gila was a really nice looking animal. Is that area more in the intergrade zone or in the area where cinctum exist. It appears to me to have alot of characteristics that make it "look" banded, but I am no taxonomist.

Even the one that got the baby seal treatment (no joke meant) has a really interesting pattern as well.

Keep up the great work. It must be nice to see them somewhat "regularly".
