Thanks for taking the time to reply. I took your advice and soaked her foot some more, and with a bit of gentle persuasion the skin (with all its little toes) came away. Everything except her dignity was intact at the finish! So thanks again. (PS I don't know if I've got the hang of this message-reply thing yet...I may have posted my original query again by accident...)Seeya lizard lovers!
