The 1st thing to ask is: How many kids he/she is putting thru college? Next is: How big are the mortgage payments? How many years experience working with reptiles? Ask to see the "hospital area" in case your animal stays overnight. Get a complete price list for services, and always ask why a procedure is being performed. Finally take extra precautions with your animal so you don't have to see the vet in the first place.
