i get all my animals tested once a year, no matter where they are from, or if i think they are healthy or not. an animal can seem fine and show no signs, but if they get stressed the parasite can take over, like around breeding season.its much easyier to treat an animal if they are showing no signs then if you wait till the are sick. i have had a problem with parasites in the past, so maybe thats why i'm over protective of my animals
just my thoughts
