ParaZap as a preventative???

I have been told that the use of ParaZap to prevent worms is good preventative action to take as opposed to waiting until the little buggers are noticed.

As some people say that worms are inevitable, does it make sense or is there any downside to giving ParaZap to my reps now who do NOT have worms now?
