I have never kept skinks before, but on snakes there skin gets really dull, and gets a blue tint to it, and there eyes turn blue. And they will go off feed, I mist all my snakes that are about to shed a few times aday, and i would think it would be the same for a skink, but like i sead i never kept one, and i don't give advice on something that im not 100% sure on, so i would say that misting would be helpfull,
Well good luck
Philip
