:I have 3 newly acquired babies that first shed 4/15. I know they are tough to feed. The first time neither showed interest in any of the pinks. Last night one showed interest for 15 minutes, one struck repeatly and even wrapped twice only to let go and the other runs. Any thoughts? Should I try feeding them every night? Has anyone had luck with Lizard Maker or Green Tree Frogs? Any help is appreciated.
:Thanks Russ

I too have a very young GTP. I got it to feed by dipping small pinky mice in gut juices of a thawed out chick. Put a chick in the microwave until it is nice and hot. Then cut the stomach open and dip the pinky in the juices in the stomach cavity. And make sure that the pinky is nice and hot....ofcourse not burning hot. Try to darken the room, so the snake cannot see you. Approach the snake very slowly and hold the pinky infront of its nose. Don't move it to much afterwards. Then it should take it eventually. I tried lizards and lizardmaker without any succes!!

Wish you luck,

greatz,
PJ
