:Jim,

:welcome to the wonderful world of chondro breeding. My best advice is to be patient. If they've shown breeding activity that's a great start. Just because it looks like they are breeding doesn't alway mean they are. My first adult pair bred for the first six months I had them, but never even produced a slug. Once I moved them into their own room, with less traffic, things turned around for the better. The following winter, breeding activity increased dramatically and finally my female produced a nice clutch of eggs. It seems like, once they do it, it's good to go the next time too. How old are your chondros? Just hang in there.

::I have had my adult pair of condros for over a year now, they mated once on july 5th but nothing ever came from it..since then Ive tried cooling them down this past winter,to about the low 60s, then warming them up in the low 80s again. they both eat well, the female is huge, I put them together for weeks at a time then seperate them for awile, I also mist them all the time, the humidity is about 70% sometime I let it go higher and sometimes lower to see if that does anything for them. so why did they breed in july and nothing happen, and now I dont see any interest in breeding? mybe im just impatient.can some one help!! thanks..ps Ive read all the breeding info on greg maxwells web site, but,I dont know what else to do..
