Strange behaviour

Since a few time i note a strange behaviour of my female chondro . During the nightime she keep cruising on the ground , a half of its body in the water , acting in a cool manner just like searching for the way out and don't caring if i'm around or even if i open the cage !
The temps are all rights and she doesn't look like nervous or whatever.

Do chondros live even on the ground in the wild ?

....or i got a Painted Green Ball Python ? lol
