: I don't want to give the impression that I have a freezer full of dead snakes, I don't, however when tragedy does strike and I have an animal expire I don't want it to go to waste. I would like to preserve the animal and donate it to my daughter's science class where other students can appreciate their beauty. My problem is, what is the best substance to preserve snakes and where can I buy it. I know formaldehyde is commonly used to preserve other things but I have no idea where I can purchase it. Can anyone offer advice?
