i used it on a 10 foot red tail and all i did was spray the reptile and rub it in with a towel, took everything out of the enclosure, sprayed it with reptile relief and used a shop vac to vaccuum out the corners and stuff in the cage. then i sprayed the stuff int he cage again, and placed the boa in there. one treatment and havenet seen another mite. the stuff is awesome. i think it is better than black nite and provent a mite
