:Very true. It was onced used by airports though. They sprayed it directly on people who were going into certain countries. It has been used by many people as a mite and tick killer though, without problems. But some people have problems with it. It is a risk you have to be willing to take it you use it, which i knew. I mean, it does just say "Roach Killer" on it.

Jason,
Just because some people have used a product without problems, doesn't mean it can't be harmful. Where are any studies to back up any claim that BK will not cause acute or chronic health problems, regardless of how it is used?
BK has caused the problems I posted above, even when the people used it as the "experts" have recommended. One of the biggest concerns for all of us is the potential to create resistant mites, with seems to happening due to the statemenst of many people, including some of the top breeders in the country.
As to use on people in airplanes, it was banned by the EPA for this use due to health problems people started to develop when they were exposed to it. A search on Airosol Aircraft spray will reveal many articles on this problem.
This product is not approved for use on reptiles. Most people wouldn't treat themselves, their families or dog or cat with any pesticide product just because someone said "I used it and didn't have a problem" , so why would one do this to their reptiles?
