: I would also suggest the corn snake or the Rosy Boa i have had a cornsnake for about 5 years now and for three of those years he was in a classroom environment...My roommate also has the Rosy Boa and these are also beutiful easy going snakes both are very hardy...good luck and keep us posted on what he gets...
