Questions about incubation

Hi I am breeding horned lizards and other types of lizards. My question is about Incubation substrate. What I want to know is can you use Canadian Sphagnum peat moss for this. I have a 3ft cubic block of the stuff by Hyponex that I paid 7 dollars for so I was wondering. Any info you can give would be great. Thanks.
