U. lineatus egg retention please help

my u. lineatus has is apparantly gravid and has been trying to lay her eggs for a couple of days. Her stomach is large and obviously full of eggs, mabye 3. She has laid eggs several times and altough none were fertile she laid them just fine. Now she seems dehydrated and worn out. The first night she was making noises while attempting to lay the eggs. Now she has trouble licking up water and she opens her mouth and i can see a small build up of water and bubble in her throat. She appears to be having trouble getting down the water. Please give me any advice thanks a lot.
