"Yes, I am an amateur."
But as I said, no fault there... everyone's got to start somewhere, right?
"Though iv had lizards in the past, its been a long time."
herptoculture changes constantly, so look out for all the wonderful new technology available now.
"Anyway, I got the Helmeted because im not a fan of larger lizards, and I really liked the look of them. From what Iv read its one of the (if not THE) smallest geckos out there."
I admire your sticking to what you like, and not going with the crowd to get a leopard gecko or bearded dragon (though they are both wonderful lizards in their own right). They are beautifully tiny gex, but not nearly the smallest of all. Here is a link to an article about the worlds smallest gecko, BBC gecko artical. there are also other species of gex that stay under 3-4cm.
Good luck with your little guy,
Jared
P.S. - if you need any help/recommendations on how to set up this enclosure (supplies, technology, etc...) just ask(either email me or here on the forum is fine).
