I've heard a lot of jungle scuttlebut in my time, but the notion that a "black caimon" is the world's biggest lizard seems a bit far - fetched (that is, assuming they mean they black caiman of South America, which is in fact a crocodilian, and not that big a one, at that. I watched the same Discovery Channel show, and, as I recall, the largest reptile in South America is the Orinoco Crocodile, which can (ostensibly) reach lengths of 23 feet, upward, and yes, which do eat caimans whenever they can catch 'em.
