: : : : : is it possible for a Garter Snake to eat frogs that are 1/4 to 1/2 an inch wide. Please reply.
I have a garder snake and I have fed her: frogs, worms, and a salamander so far. I can watch her eat them. The first time I fed her worms, she snatched a worm right out of my hands. So to briefly answer your question, yes they can eat frogs depending in the size of the snake. They probaly will drop their jaw in order to eat it so if you think it's to big for the snake, it may be just fine for the snake.
