:I have an otherwise healthy 18 month old melanistic male who is now bluing in advance of his second shed in the past 4 weeks. He eats very well, did not brumate this winter, has been alert and active. He was successfully treated for reptile mites in mid-November with Black Knight spray - no recurrence of mites.

:His sheds have all been complete with no difficulties - should I be concerned about the frequency?

:Thanks,

:Nic

No you said he is eating well.It sounds like a growthspurt.I would not be worried.I have had many young ones shed about every 6 weeks with no illeffect.
