I was mostly into ratsnakes, and a friend of mine had a wc garter that threw a litter! That's how I got mine, but I have seen some nice ones at the reptile show AND in my back yard. I live on a few acres in Central Ohio, and have lots of wild snakes in the yard. So far I have kept my "yard" garters in my yard, although if I found a really unusual one I would certainly keep it. :do you catch them locally or purchase them online? any good sites with a large variety? thanks.
