No. They do breed in the fall and then the females brumate and then possibly remate in the spring. You can brumate her for a while if you want a break from cleaning the cage. I would make sure she has access to another male when she comes out of brumation just to make sure.
Sounds like she has a sperm plug in her vent. It should be whitish and will stay a day or more.
