dead frozen rats for adults.called pinkies. twice a week give one cut in half or fish or worms from the garde, washed usually5-6 a week. just put the food in a bowl and it'll feed itself. small tadpoles go down well, but they dislike fury animals. the tank must be kept between 75 - 90 degrees at all times or it'll die . I know because I have kept garters for over 10 years. I hope this has been of help to you.
